The HipVap dry herb and wax vaporizer is a new but an advanced sleek portable vape. Looking like a flask, the design is nothing shy of stealthy, smooth, and stylish. The best part of it is it takes dry herbs, wax, or oil so no need to carry two vaporizers on you.

It’s smaller than the palm of your hand so it’s easily discreet and fits in your pocket even easier. The portable vape itself is 3.5” x 2.4” x 1” and weights about half a pound. One bad thing about this is that the batteries which are 2 x 1700mAh 3.7 volt lithium ion, are not replaceable. The main things that make up the HipVap Vaporizer to be a wonderful portable dry herb vaporizer are the temperature settings, battery life, and the herbal heating chamber it provides.

Temperature Control Setting

The HipVap Vaporizer is one of a kind for a portable dry herb vaporizer due to its efficiency in changing the temperature. The temperature goes up by intervals of two and ranges from 150°F (302°C) to 430°F (220°C). It takes about a minute and a half to two minutes for the vaporizer to get to your wanted temperature so it does not take too long.

Heating Chamber

The herbal and concentrate heating chamber of the HipVap Vaporizer is hiding underneath the door at the bottom. Just swing it open and you will see the herbal screen chamber. To get the best vapor quality, make sure you don’t fully fill up chamber and don’t pack it too tight. Overall it fits about 0.3 grams of in the chamber. When you pack your herbs make sure they are nicely ground to make sure all the herbs in the chamber are getting an even heat distribution.

Warranty on the HipVap Vaporizer

At first the makers of the HipVap Vaporizer came out with a 10 year warranty on these bad boys but they quickly changed it to two years warranty which is still pretty good. Anything that happens will be replaced by the manufacturer. Considering the length of warranties on other portable dry herb vaporizers, this is a hell of a deal.

Cleaning and Servicing

Over time you will notice your portable dry herb vaporizer getting dirty and in need of a nice scrub. This can be caused from the area you take it too or simply the residue build up. Either way you should start off by taking the rubber mouthpiece off or giving it a nice clean under water then scrubbing it.  Make sure not to get water anywhere on the outside or inside of the main vaporizer itself. Take out the herbal chamber screen and soak it in hot water to loosen up all the residue then clean it with isopropyl rubbing alcohol.

Specs of the HipVap Vaporizer

The HipVap vaporizer is a multi-use vaporizer that can be fed both dry herbs and waxes. Having it be able to vaporize both, you need to change temperatures to let it adapt to it what’s inside. Due to this reason the HipVap vaporizer has variable vaping temperate control settings. The temperature ranges from 150 degrees to 430 degrees Fahrenheit. To help you know the temperature you’re on, it has a digital LED number monitor which gives you real time accurate temperatures. Make sure your dry loose leaf herbs are ground up nice to increase its efficiency but not too fine. From the time you turn your vape on and set it to your desired temperature, it will be take about 60 seconds to fully heat up your herbs.

 

Dry Herb Vapor

The grind level of your dry herbs along with the temperature of your HipVap will determine your vapor production. If you want efficient vapor from your dry herbs you need to keep it around 356 degrees Fahrenheit. The temperature is changed by the plus ( ) and minus (-) signs which increase or decrease the temperature chronologically in variables of 2.

 

Battery

It is recommended to charge your HipVap vaporizer, which should is about 2-4 hours, before your initial use.  The orange light means it is still charging while the green light means it’s fully charged. The HipVap vaporizer has an auto-shut off feature to make sure it turns off automatically and not draining unused batteries.

The battery of the HipVap Vaporizer as we said are 2 x 1700mAh 3.7 volt lithium ion but they are not replaceable. The good thing is that the battery when fully charged will last up to 2 and a half hours of full continuous vaping. To fully charge the batteries it takes just about two to two and a half hours. It is not usually advised to vape while charging but it can easily be done.

Light Indicators

To turn on the HipVap vaporizer, leave your finger on the button for three seconds until the blue light shows. When the light is blinking red, this means the temperature is heating up to go to the temperature you. When you turn it on back it will default to the temperature you set it last. When the vaporizer light turns green you are ready to go and vape. Simply put your mouth over the mouthpiece and inhale. Inhaling cools it down a bit so it will turn red while it heats up again to get to your set temperature.

 

How to use the HipVap Vaporizer

For Dry Herbs: Open the bottom door to expose the chamber. With your ground up herbs, fill up the herb chamber and close the door. You can add a screen if you choose too. Select your desired temperature, let the vaporizer climb its way there which will happen in just under 60 seconds. When the green light goes on letting you know it reached the temperature, you can go ahead and start vaping.

For Concentrates: Like the same process with the dry herbs, open the bottom door to expose the chamber. Take a cotton that came with the vaporizer with your concentrates on the top and throw it in the chamber. Make sure the heating hole is faced towards the concentrates. Close the door, turn your vaporizer on to set your desired temperature then wait until the green light turns on indicating the temperature has been reached.
